Cadets experience a bit of Adventure...
Over Easter weekend 8 cadets of 2279, along with cadets of 1251 (Berwyn) and 579 (Llandrindod Wells) Squadrons enjoyed a fun packed weekend in Snowdonia. Accommodation was in the '4 star' Army camp at Capel Curig where the cadets enjoyed luxury billets and top quality food including some delicious puddings....

The weekend consisted of an Easter Egg hunt on Good Friday where all the cadets were succesful in navigating their way to a choccy egg. Saturday saw a group tackle a high level route while the rest got some navigation practice in the lowland areas around the locality. Sunday was indoor climbing at the Beacon climbing centre where many cadets (and staff) got to scale new heights.

All in all a great weekend....with hopefully more similar opportunities coming up during the summer so keep watching this space...
