Cadets Hot Air Balloon experience

The balloon's gone up!




Lucky 2279 Sqn cadet Jen Selby had her head in the clouds when she was offered the chance of a Hot Air Ballon flight. The opportunity was made possible following a kind offer from David Green of Xuberance Event management, who is also a keen balloon pilot. Cadet Selby was nominated by Squadron staff for the flight which took place on the beautiful spring evening of Sunday 19th April. Take off was from the Oswestry school sports field, followed by a flight lasting around an hour and a half before a smooth landing in field above Glyn Ceiriog. David Green commented that he started off with a very nervous looking passenger, but once settled in to the flight it was all smiles...
